Jelly Bubble Game Modes Overview

Competitive Soap Battle, co-op variants, score rush, and Create Mode in one guide.

Game Modes

Jelly Bubble’s mode select screen hides more variety than a casual party brawler needs — and that is intentional. BINGOBELL targets both competitive friend groups who want structured team fights and co-op crews who prefer shared goals over elimination toxicity. This page maps every major mode at launch, how scoring works, and which soap tiers rise in each ruleset.

For Soap Battle specifics — leaders, 30 HP, 500-point cannons — read the full Soap Battle guide. For player counts and local vs online, see the Modes hub.

Competitive modes

Score Rush (Free-for-All)

The default onboarding mode. Every player competes individually to bank soap at scoring zones while stealing from rivals via color mechanics. Rankings follow total deposited soap plus elimination bonuses.

Best for: first-time friends, First Victory attempts, learning spawn timings.

Soap meta: Steal and blast families top the tier list; defensive soaps are luxury picks unless you snowball early.

Soap Battle (Team Competitive)

Red vs blue teams share a point pool. Roles include a fragile leader at 30 HP, soap that doubles as ammo and health, and a bombardment cannon at 500 team points. This is the ranked-style headline mode for online 3v3 and local 2v2.

Best for: structured game nights, Discord stacks, Creator Challenge highlight clips.

Soap meta: Defensive and swap soaps climb tiers; coordinate color calls and deposit denial.

Last Soap Standing

Shrink-zone variant — the arena boundary closes while soap spawns thin out. Eliminations matter more than deposits in final minutes.

Best for: short sessions between longer Soap Battle sets.

Soap meta: Blast and swap only; hoarding health soap beats banking late.

Bubble Soccer

Party football on a compact pitch with multiple ball types (standard, heavy, rubber, unstable, bonus). Score goals instead of banking soap; color attract/repel still governs ball control and steals. Added in DEVBLOG #5 and shipped at launch.

Best for: groups who want readable win conditions without Soap Battle economy.

Soap meta: Optional edge spawns boost collision strength — secondary to kick timing.

Full rules: Bubble Soccer guide.

Stay Away (Poop King raid)

Co-op-leaning boss mode — Poop King anchors map center with two health bars, inventory infection attacks, and soap projectile DPS. The finisher earns 500 points.

Best for: mixed PvE/PvP nights and Creator Challenge chaos clips.

Soap meta: Shield Soap and blast families dominate; steal soaps punish opportunistic PvP.

Full rules: Stay Away guide.

Cooperative modes

Soap Squad (Co-op Soap Battle)

Two teams of humans face mirrored AI bankers or hazard waves while still using Soap Battle team scoring. Friendly fire can be toggled off. Cannon still fires at 500 points but targets NPC structures instead of only enemy side map half in some weekly rotations.

Best for: mixed-skill groups where one friend is new and needs breathing room.

Soap meta: Gel Shield and Foam Wall rise; steal soaps matter less when AI pathing is predictable.

Bubble Heist (Co-op Objective)

Squad collects a quota of soap types before a timer expires. Map hazards escalate each minute. No player elimination ranking — success is binary.

Best for: achievement breaks without PvP stress.

Soap meta: Balanced loadouts; bring one defensive soap for clutch quota delivery.

Create Mode Test Co-op

Publish work-in-progress maps and run them with friends before public release. Counts toward Building Maniac when others join.

Best for: creators and Carnival Party map variety indirectly via learning official layouts faster.

Local vs online behavior

Local Play (2–4 players): Split-screen with shared deposit tutorials. Unlocks Local Fun after one full round. Input lag is minimal — steal-heavy soaps feel strongest.

Online Play (up to 6): Matchmaking and friend invites. Host should meet recommended specs if using voice plus Remote Play Together.

Remote Play Together: Steam feature streaming from host; guests play competitive modes as if local. Network quality on the host matters more than guest hardware.

Create Mode (sandbox + publish)

Not a match type in the traditional sense but a pillar mode: place platforms, soap spawns, hazards, and win conditions, then upload for friends or public lobbies.

Supports trampoline memes, serious Soap Battle arenas, and Creator Challenge entries. Pair with Customization screenshots for event submissions.

Mode select tips

  • New groups: Score Rush → Soap Battle → Create Mode
  • Achievement route: Local Fun early, rotate 10 maps for Carnival Party, publish one map for Building Maniac
  • Competitive stack: Soap Battle only with Soap Reference open on a second monitor

Future modes

Bubble Soccer and Stay Away shipped at the August 4, 2026 launch after DEVBLOG #5. Track Launch Update and the Updates hub for post-release balance on ball types, Poop King HP, and any seasonal mutators BINGOBELL adds later.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

What is Soap Battle in Jelly Bubble?

Soap Battle is a red-vs-blue team mode where squads bank soap for shared points, protect a 30 HP leader, and race to 500 points to fire a bombardment cannon.

Does Jelly Bubble have co-op?

Yes. Soap Squad and Bubble Heist are cooperative modes using the same soap mechanics with PvE or objective-focused rules.

Which mode is best for beginners?

Score Rush free-for-all teaches colors and deposits without leader pressure. Move to Soap Battle once friends understand steal and repel timing.

Do all modes count for achievements?

Most achievements accept any mode that completes a full round. Building Maniac specifically requires Create Mode with other players.

What is Bubble Soccer in Jelly Bubble?

Bubble Soccer is a goal-scoring party football mode with multiple ball types. Same-color attract and different-color repel still apply while you kick and bump the ball into nets.

What is Stay Away mode?

Stay Away is a boss raid against Poop King. Teams fire soap projectiles at two health bars while dodging inventory infection; the killing blow awards 500 bonus points.

Can I play Soap Battle locally?

Yes. Local split-screen supports Soap Battle at 2–4 players with the same team rules as online.
